Pain that has not responded to usual care
Our physicians assess the source of your pain and, where appropriate, treat it directly with image-guided procedures.
Back & neck pain
Chronic low back and neck pain, including pain from degenerative discs and facet joints.
Nerve pain
Sciatica, radiating arm or leg pain, and other pain caused by irritated or compressed nerves.
Joint pain
Persistent shoulder, hip, knee and sacroiliac joint pain that has not settled with other care.
Post-surgical pain
Pain that continues after spine or joint surgery and needs a dedicated treatment plan.
Complex regional pain
Burning, hypersensitive limb pain assessed for targeted sympathetic nerve treatment.
Widespread pain
Long-standing pain affecting multiple areas, reviewed for infusion-based treatment options.
Treatments
Interventional procedures, planned at your first visit
Because your MRI is completed the same day as your assessment, your physician can review the images with you and recommend a plan without a second wait.
Nerve blocks
Local anaesthetic placed at a specific nerve to confirm the source of pain and relieve it.
Epidural injections
Image-guided injection near an irritated spinal nerve to reduce inflammation and leg or arm pain.
Facet joint blocks
Targeted treatment of the small spinal joints that often drive chronic back and neck pain.
Stellate ganglion blocks
A neck-level sympathetic block used for certain nerve-related head, face, arm and chest pain.
Ketamine & lidocaine infusions
Monitored intravenous infusions for selected nerve-related and widespread pain conditions.
Image guidance
Procedures are performed with imaging so medication reaches the intended target precisely.
What we do
Treatments and interventions offered at the clinic include nerve, joint, muscle, tendon sheath and trigger point blocks and injections to the face, scalp, arms, legs, thorax, abdomen, pelvis and spine.
They may include paravertebral cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral blocks, peripheral and cranial nerve injections, intercostal blocks, epidural steroid injections, and botulinum injections for migraines, spasticity and dystonia.
Not every treatment is suitable for every person. Your physician will discuss the options, benefits and risks that apply to you.

Complete the referral
Include the reason for referral, relevant history, current medications and any previous imaging.
Send it to the clinic
Fax to 416-256-0602 or send it directly through your EMR.
We contact your patient
We book the assessment and the same-day MRI together, so nothing is scheduled twice.
Submit a referral online
Every referral is recorded with the patient’s name, the date it was submitted and your questions, so the clinic team can follow up.

What to expect at your visit
Before you arrive
Bring your health card, a list of your current medications and any previous imaging reports.
Your MRI
The MRI is completed free of charge on the same day as your assessment, at the clinic.
Your assessment
Your physician examines you, reviews the images with you and explains the treatment options.
Your plan
You leave with a clear plan, including what happens next and who to contact with questions.
Do I need a referral?
Yes. A referral from your family physician or nurse practitioner is required before we can book your assessment.
What does it cost?
Assessments and most procedures are covered by OHIP. The MRI is free of charge.
Is the clinic accredited?
The clinic is registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario as an inspected Level 2 Out-of-Hospital Premises.
